NEET UG 2024 Result Controversy

In the face of allegations of NEET exam paper leak and unexpected early release of results, students have voiced strong demands for the NEET UG 2024 to be re-conducted. Students believe that the NEET exam trust has been harmed which could negatively impact on many applicants’ future who depend on passing it to get admission in top medical schools.

The National Testing Agency and relevant authority are a major burden to deal with these issues easily and ensure that the selection process remains fair. The decision on whether to re-conduct the NEET 2024 exam will probably depend on the outcome of the ongoing investigations into the allegations of paper leak.

NEET Scam 2024

  • Reports indicate that, in NEET UG 2024 exam some students have received up to 250 extra marks unfairly, with wealthy students illegally buying top ranks to get admission in AIIMS Delhi.
  • In past years, only 2 to 3 students passed the benchmark of 720 out of 720 marks but shockingly this year 67 students have scored 720 marks, which has never happened before.
  • Upon further investigation, it was found that six of these top scorers had identical roll numbers and were all from the same exam center in Haryana, indicating a serious scam.
  • Additionally, the exam paper was reportedly leaked before the test, similar to the 2017 incident and this leak is believed to have been by Vishal Chaurasia who is involved in similar offenses.
  • While having clear evidence of paper leak and media coverage, the National Testing Agency has not canceled the NEET examination which was a huge security breach.
  • While some students who get 720 marks still have not got a seat in AIIMS Delhi, and students who got above them 640 marks are not considered for Government Medical College.

Miscalculation In NEET Exam 2024

Following the release of the results, a few students faced incorrect calculations in the NEET exam. For example, a large number of students received scores of 718 and 719, which was not possible as they should have received 716 and 715 respectively if they left one question and attempted one question wrong, so they made no sense to get 718 and 719 marks. This has caused white spread anger among students and parents and most of the students sacrificing their life due to NTA fault.

NEET UG Re-Exam?

Students are requesting the national testing agency authority to conduct the NEET exam 2024, showing their concern that their hard work and dedication could not be sacrificed by those who achieved perfect scores by performing illegal methods.

The decision on whether the NEET exam will be held again is still pending, and official communication regarding the NEET re-exam will be provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA). If the schedule is confirmed by the National testing agency it will be published on its official website so students are advised to keep an eye on it.

  1. Best solution to the concern can be to give admission in government to greater extends of marks ie 400+ or increase seats. This concern will further creat illegal admissions in medical colleges with fraud asking for money then only admissions granted ….
